Applications are open for the 2017 EMBL Interdisciplinary Postdocs Fellowship (EIPOD). The programme offers about 20 positions annually and is open to citizens of all nationalities.The EI3POD programme builds upon the original EIPOD programme which was designed to support interdisciplinary research projects involving two or more EMBL labs.

EIPODs are supported by EMBL and an EU Marie Curie Actions Cofund grant. The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is a molecular biology research institution supported by 22 member states, four prospect and two associate member states.

The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.

Course Level: The postdoctoral fellowships are awarded for the interdisciplinary project. Applicants can propose an interdisciplinary project according to their scientific interest or may select from a set of predefined research ideas which they then develops into a full research proposal.

Study Subject: Successful candidates will pursue interdisciplinary projects, transferring techniques to a new context or connecting scientific fields that are usually separate, across at least two labs at the five EMBL sites.

Applications are now accepted for the 2017/18 PhD program at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, one of the six Schools of Excellence in Italy and one of the highest rated graduate schools in Europe according to the most recent E-Multirank survey. Highly motivated candidates from all disciplines are invited to apply for one of the 36 fully-funded scholarships within a three-year doctoral program that integrates scientific competences of economics, engineering, computer science, neuroscience and behavioral psychology, physics, applied mathematics, statistics, history and sciences of cultural heritage.

The three-year PhD program is articulated in four field-specific curricula that partially share a common scientific background and are directly linked to the School’s four scientific and research macro-areas. Candidates can apply for one (or more) of the following curricula:

Ulster University International Foundation Programme Scholarships in UK, 2017

The Ulster University is offering two full tuition fee scholarships to international (non-EU) students. These scholarships are awarded to study International Foundation Programme, commencing in September 2017.For entry onto IFP student should have achieved an overall score of 5.0 in the UKVI IELTS examination with no individual band score of less than 5.0.Ulster University, officially the University of Ulster, is a multi-campus public university located in Northern Ireland. It is often referred to informally and unofficially as Ulster, or by the abbreviation UU.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing International Foundation Programme,

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: 2 x £8,820 scholarships applied as 100% discount to your tuition fee.

Number of Scholarships: There are two scholarships available.

Eligibility:Applicants must meet the following area for the scholarship:

  • Students must be classified as an international student paying the international tuition fee rate to qualify for this award.
  • Students must have accepted a conditional offer for the International Foundation Programme commencing in September 2017 and have met any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in their offer letter.
  • Please note you are only eligible for one discount or scholarship.

Nationality: Scholarships are open to international (non-EU) students.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Students normally make offers to students who have successfully completed 12 years of education with good grades.

Test Requirement: No
